Jenn Dickie was born in northern Canada and introduced at a young age to the outdoors by her parents. She spent much of her childhood at the family cabin, exploring and playing with her older sister. With her first camera at age 12, photography immediately became a passion. After her family moved to the interior of British Columbia in her early teens Jenn was fortunate to be able to participate in an outdoor education program through her local high school, where she was introduced to new backcountry activities, and wilderness survival skills. She knew her future path would be forever changed because of the experience.
After high school she spent years traveling and working abroad, taking photography classes when she could. Upon returning to Vancouver she earned a diploma in Adventure Tourism and began working as a wilderness guide on the west coast of British Columbia. For the past 13 years she has paddled the pacific waters and hiked the temperate rainforests of British Columbia, always with camera in hand. Jenn's love of travel has taken her to unique and amazing places around the globe, she now makes her home in Brackendale, BC where she is surrounded and inspired by some of British Columbia's most stunning natural places and creatures.
